Customers in the East Coast are having trouble placing calls, receiving or sending texts, and connecting to data
Mobile customers are experiencing service and connectivity issues as of 12:30 p.m. ET today. Outages have been reported across the East Coast via social media sites like Twitter, Reddit, and Downdetector, but not all customers are affected, problems may be intermittent, and the cause is unknown.
At about 12:15 p.m., customers began reporting widespread connectivity issues, including trouble making phone calls, receiving text messages, and sending data. T-Mobile customers in Massachusetts are reporting difficulties making phone calls. New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C. are among the cities where people have reported being affected. It appears from a map of Downdetector reports that the issue is most prevalent in the Northeast.

When T-LG Mobile's phones started experiencing problems recently, it's possible this may be linked in some way. On May 23rd, a different issue was resolved, with certain LG phones on T-network Mobile's displaying a "LG IMS has Stopped" error message, which appeared to be linked to a network change.Rebooting the device, according to some subscribers, seems to fix the problem.
T-Mobile has been contacted for additional information. However, the @T-MobileHelp account has been responding to individual inquiries with offers of DM-based assistance even though the company has yet to acknowledge the outage.
